Any action that is performed on the person without consensus should be taken into serious consideration. Being a woman married to a man doesn't mean the man can misuse that "relationship" as a reason to sexually abuse his wife as and when as he pleases without mutual consent from both parties...this should apply to both man and woman.

While we look at the issue of the wife being abused due the immunity enjoyed by the husband; we should also consider: the wife can turn around and use the amended law to her advantage against the husband.
