Rape is and will always be one of the most abusive and derogatory form of violent behavior. Women, especially, are inherently at the losing end. Marital rape is no different. In fact, on moral grounds, it should be deemed much worse as when a women marries her spouse, she has entrusted her life to him to love and care for her. We must uproot marital rape from our society and prevent and punish such a life damaging act.

Dear Mr Prime Minister, rape is an act of violence. If a husband rapes his wife and it's not considered as an act of violence, then women abuse should be legalize all over the world.

Rape is rape, irregardless of whether the victim is married to the perpetrator or not. A marriage license does not give a man the 'right' to be violent to his spouse. If the Law cannot protect these women, who can? Who will?
