We deserve the right and freedom as women to voice our discomfort. It is only reasonable that we maintain our rights as a women even after becoming a wife, which is an added responsibility and identity on top of who we are as women. It is nonsense to redefine these words "unwilling sex from husband" as "Not Rape" just because of the legal bind in marriage. The law has to protect those that are forced into doing things against their wishes.

I believe Maritial rape should be criminalised as it is up to the person to decide whether they want to have sex or not. Marital rape, along with the banning of freedom of speech, assembly and expression, are all an insult to human rights and I urge the Singapore Government to reform in order to make Singapore progress even further.

It makes no difference how the perpetrator and the victim are related, rape is rape.

Rape is rape, regardless of who the person is. As long as there is no consent from the female, it is rape, even if the person is the husband. Women need to be protected!
