i strongly believe that the current penal code with regards to this issue is not only backdated but also absurd. Women should also have rights within marriage, especially when it concerns their bodies. If the government is concerned about abuse of the revamped penal code, they should bear in mind that the defendant must be shown to be guilty without doubt for him to be prosecuted. Hence, wives who are looking to abuse this 'loophole' should not be a concern. In any case, the law has adequate resources to bring the truth to light.
