| I strongly believe violence against women are not to be condoned. In this case, the sexual violence that occur after marriage is equivalent to rape. We deal harshly with rapist in society, how then can we cast a blind eye when the rapist is the husband. If a woman doesnt consent when her husband forces himself on her, it is in every essence, rape. It is psychologically damaging and inhumane. I strongly urge you to repeat this section. | |

| Forcing sexual intercourse on a person is rape, be it the victim a spouse or a stranger. In fact, it is worse when the rapist is someone whom the victim is supposed to trust. Please treat marital rape as a serious matter and prosecute it as a crime. | |

| While you're enjoying bliss, there are others who may be suffering sexual abuses from their husbands. I do not take my current blissfulness for granted. What if my husband betrays me 1 day & i do not wish to risk contracting an STD? And especially during the transitional period before a divorce is official, how does a woman say no to sex?
