Rape is a serious offence, and the psychological impacts it has on the person can never be erased for life. Rape should be stamped out, and the government should play an active part too!

Marriage, as a public institution, should afford sufficient protection to women and not exploit their vulnerability. Similarly, it should not double as a safe haven for men who have violated the sanctity of marriage.

Rape is sex and not violence and cannot be tolerated under any circumstance. Prosecuting husbands is not meddling in the bedroom affairs of a couple, but ensures women are protected against sexual crimes, even if they occur in a personal relationship.
